Campus Legal Counsel

As Campus Legal Counsel for Urbana-Champaign, Collin manages in-house attorneys and professional staff at the Urbana-Champaign office and provides oversight of outside counsel retained for all legal matters arising at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Collin joined the Office of University Counsel in 2017 as Associate University Counsel before becoming Senior Associate University Counsel in 2019. He was appointed Campus Legal Counsel for Urbana-Champaign in 2022.  Prior to joining the University, Collin had significant experience in private practice and as general counsel for a large, multi-specialty physician group. Collin earned his law degree from Southern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois.
